LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES #6 DC COMICS
To be honest, I feel a bit cheated here. Boldly annoucing the newest recruits of the Legion on the cover, I had hoped to see them in action or at the very least given a little back story here. Monster Boy appears as a Mars Attacks! style alien helping to direct people to an evacuation spot (Holy Booster Gold in Justice League Unlimited, Batman!) and generally scaring people. The future version of Dr. Fate appears in two backround panels, one of which it is hard to tell if thats him or not. The only character to get some screen time is Gold Lantern. And aside from a great enterence and a big “holding back the energy wave pose, that’s all he gets. In fact, none of the 3 even get shown at the battle victory pose ending. Still the Aquaman Trident storyline seems to have ended nicely and the political intrigue here is setting the stage for future storylines. I give it a 7 out of 10 Grahams.
