Welcome travelers, one and all to Graham Crackers Comics of Plainfield. We are located at 16030 S. Lincoln Hwy (aka Route 30) in Plainfield, IL next to Enterprise Rent-A-Car and across the street from Megasports and Craft’d, where we have been proudly serving the Joliet/Plainfield/Shorewood area since 2006.
Having been here since the Plainfield location opened, I guess you could call me sort of a Chronicler of sorts. The store has gone through a ton of changes over the years. You see our All Ages section? That used to be behind the counter. The Trade paperback area? Originally was a back room/office. The section with the Marvel, Independents and back issues? Yup, that was a wall there.
Thanks to your support over the years, Plainfield has had a lot of growth and we have nearly tripled in size from when we first opened back in 2006. We always try to keep our trade paperbacks well stocked and fresh, be it the racks, the top 50, our $5 TPB bookshelf, and art books, which if you’re looking to improve your skills as an artist of any sort, are a great resource.
We have also recently renovated and moved and expanded our toy and Funko section! Restock & new items on a seemingly weekly basis!
Our Independent section has also relocated to our main floor (no more stair workouts!), so if you’re looking for the newest issues of Conan, Spawn or Hellboy, they are now in a much more convenient and easy to find location.
