Despite it being months into the COVID-19 pandemic, and there not being any sign of the situation abating, we are still having issues with some customers not wearing masks or wearing them properly. So, as a refresher, let’s review the issue with the help of some of our heroes.
Superman. No mask, no entry. He’s probably immune to all Earthly illness, but we still can’t let him in.
Batman. Masked, but mouth and nose exposed. No entry. Batman probably should’ve prepared a little more.
Green Lantern. Domino mask, also inadequate. No entry. Green here means ‘stop, go get a real mask.’
Captain America. That shield will protect him from bullets, but his mask isn’t doing anything. And everyone knows who he is anyways. No entry.
The Shadow. Here’s the problem that’s happening a lot. Lamont has the right idea but he isn’t quite there; his mask is covering his mouth, but it is not covering his nose. Maybe it just slipped down, but it seems unlikely given his giant nose. If your mask slips down, please fit it again properly, otherwise, no entry/we ask you to leave.
Spider-Man. Now we’re getting somewhere. Full face coverage. Nose and mouth covered. The eyes are a little overboard, but we’re not going to complain. Come on in Spidey! This is your neighborhood!
Iron Man. You have to imagine that his suit is filtering his air both ways, right? Mouth covered. Nose covered. Personal air supply. Welcome, Mr. Stark!
So, on the scale of unmasked to futuristic robo-armor, please skew towards robo-armor. Get yourself a quality mask, and use it to keep your nose and mouth covered when shopping in our stores, for the safety of the staff and your fellow customers. Thank you!
