DARK KNIGHTS DEATH METAL MULTIVERSE’S END #1 DC COMICS
Another of the seemingly endless tie ins to the Dark Knights storyline. However this one offers up a bit of charm and ingenuity that spotlights wiriter James Tynion IV’s talents. It also highlights artist Juan Gedeon’s versatility as he has to flip-flop between facial close ups to giant multi-character fight scenes all on the same page. And with the huge color palate of Mike Spicer to cause the pages to glow. We join our hodge-podge group of remaining heroes trying to save what they can while enacting a last ditch master plan. No spoilers for those who have all their time and money wrapped up in the overall tale, but here a few moments that make this issue worth reading. Punching Nazis, a cuter, more cuddly version of Captain Carrot (not as good as Scott Shaw!’s of course but better than some.), a much more relatable Guy Gardner, a synopsys of the story so far that actually makes sense, and most importantly the real significance of Eath 3 and Owlman! This one almost brings about a sense of nostalgia. I give it a 7 out of 10 Grahams. 
BATMAN THREE JOKERS #2 DC COMICS
Another in-depth look into the world of the Batman family! Geoff Johns really knows his stuff as we delve deep into Batgirl and Jason Todd. And after leading us down a path that has been gone down before, he pulls out of the tailspin and lets the story soar! Black Label or not, this story reminds me of some of the classic Detective issues of the early 1970’s. And now the Joker’s next step of their mysterious plan begins with Jason Todd failing and the return of Joe Chill! Definate high ratings as this is worth the time and attention! I give it a 9 out of 10 Grahams.
PLANET COMICS #2 ANTARCTIC PRESS
Antartic Press continues their terrific job af recreating the Golden Days of Yesteryear with this second issue of their old school title. And as the cover advertises, we get to uncover more details about the super-heroine, Amazona who first appeared in March of 1940 (predating Wonder Woman)! Along with two other sci-fi stories rounding out the issue, this issue’s main cover by Kelsey Shannon certainly steals the show by displaying Amazona’s mysterious beauty! This is how comics started out! Revisit the past! I give it a 8 out of 10 Grahams.
