There’s an argument that can be made that the last few years of the Star Trek fandom are some of its best or at least some of it’s most diverse. The year began with five ongoing shows streaming, sadly two were/ will be their last season and one was unexpectedly ended. But never fear Trek fans shows aren’t the only place you can fine a variety of new Trekkie goodness to fill your needs. IDW is bringing Trek comics back to the forefront with plenty of tales for fans of all generations with all of our favorite characters. But The “Warp You Own Way” choose your own adventure comic was announced at SDCC and we are excited and anxiously awaiting a release date. Now you may find yourself saying “What about fans of Voyager?” and here is the fun part, technically Star Trek Ongoing AND Star Trek Defiant have characters from TOS, TNG, DS9 AND Voyager!!!! The writing is some of the best in Star Trek comics ever and the writers truly understand the characters from all those shows and their knowledge and love for the shows absolutely come through.
